Adithya School of Business Management organized an In-Plant visit training at The India Cements Ltd, Sankari. S Ramamorthy, Plant HR Head, Darwin, HR Coordinator and James William, Asst. HR facilitated Branding aspects, HR practices, Organic Corporate Culture Practices and R & D and Production processes of India Cements.
The company has 7 integrated cement plants in Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, one in Rajasthan (through its subsidiary, Trinetra Cement Ltd) and two grinding units, one each in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra with a capacity of 15.5 million tonnes per annum. Sankar Cement, Coramandel Cement and Raasi Gold are the brands owned by India Cements.
Dr Sundarapandiyan Natarajan, Director and R Lakshmikanth, Assistant Professor accompanied the students during the visit.
