#6 Hotels had cake-mixing ceremony

The Annual Cake Mixing Ceremony at Café Gardenia 24 x 7, part of Hash Six Hotels in Coimbatore, kicked off the festive season in a fragrant and celebratory fashion. Though Christmas was still some time away, the intoxicating aroma and rich tradition enveloped all who participated. The event brought together chefs, media friends, corporate guests, in-house guests, and well-wishers, all donning traditional chef attire to immerse themselves in the age-old ritual of mixing the perfect Christmas cake.

The mixing table was a colourful spectacle of fruits like raisins, cherries, and a variety of nuts, alongside a selection of spices. The real excitement came with the addition of a vast array of liquors, making the mixture weigh approximately 1000 kg. Once the ingredients were thoroughly mixed, they were sealed in airtight bags, and set aside to mature until Christmas, when they would be used to bake and sell the festive cakes.

The event was a beloved tradition and promised to create cherished memories. Executive Chef Raja played a pivotal role in hosting this grand and inclusive celebration.

Susheen, General Manager, Hash Six Hotels Coimbatore said, “Cake Mixing is an age old tradition the world over and we were very excited to be hosting this unique Cake Mixing Ceremony in Coimbatore as we prepare for a festive season filled with cheer!”
