Freespace inaugurates news office in Coimbatore

UK-based Workplace Automation Technology company Freespace inaugurated its new 7000 sq.ft office in CHIL-SEZ IT Park in Coimbatore on Monday, which will serve as a pilot centre of excellence for Manufacturing, R&D and Training.

Sriramulu Balakrishnan, President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry-Coimbatore inaugurated the new office in the presence of Raj Krishnamurthy, Founder & CEO, Freespace, Tharique Ansari, Centre Head, Freespace Coimbatore, Daniel, HR-M, Freespace and the staff of the company.

200,000 employees and 40 global big players (predominantly in Technology and insurance sector) use the services of FreeSpace. The advanced technology can help large companies to save more (up to 40%) on their real estate expenses, help them reduce their power wastage effectively, thereby reducing their power cost (up to 50%), and can also aid the companies to reduce their carbon footprint, it was conveyed at the launch event.

This new office will be a place where Freespace’s new technology and products for South East Asia and Indian markets and customers will be demonstrated. The research carried out here and the stable outcomes will be taken across the country.

Raj Krishnamurthy, Founder & CEO, FreeSpace said that he decided to launch this office and make the investment in Coimbatore as it has a history of manufacturing excellence, a huge talent pool due to top class Educational Institutions, a large section of industrious people with a mindset for growth and most of all, better infrastructure.
