PSG’s iTech Hackfest 2023 Concludes

The valedictory function of the iTech Hackfest 2023 was held on August 26th at PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research. The event was graced by the presence of Ferose, Senior Vice-President and Head of SAP Academy for Engineering, as the Chief Guest.

In his valedictory address, Ferose highlighted the importance of events like the iTech Hackfest in nurturing innovation and talent. He also emphasized the need to cultivate hackathon ideas and transform them into startups.

Ferose also spoke about SAP’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. He cited the company’s “Autism at Work” initiative and the “All India Inclusion Summit” as examples of its efforts to create an inclusive workplace.

The valedictory function also saw the announcement of the winners of the iTech Hackfest 2023. The top team, Code Crusade from Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, won a cash prize of Rs. 1,50,000. The second-place team, Farmlink from Sri Sairam Institute of Technology, won a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000. The third-place team, Kanya Rasi from KL University, won a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

The success of the iTech Hackfest 2023 is a testament to the power of collaboration, dedication, and innovation. The event was a great success and it is sure to inspire many more young minds to pursue their dreams of innovation.
