KCT confers degrees to 2000+ students

Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) held its Graduation Ceremony for the 2021 Batch on Saturday. More than 2000 students of the 2021 batch graduated on this occasion.

Shankar Vanavarayar, the Joint Correspondent, Kumaraguru Institutions presided over the event. D Saravanan, the Principal and Heads of various departments were present.

In his address to the students, he said “please remind yourself that a lot of goals, a lot of learning and experience has to be built. Even though you will be a graduated individual and a young Indian today, the learning cannot stop. A graduation or a degree is a passport to further learning… Learning is constant and consistent”.

Chief Guest R.Velusamy, President, Automotive Technology &Product Development, Mahindra and Mahindra conferred the certificates to the graduates.

While addressing the graduates, he said, “Steve Jobs kept his heart towards the customers and their needs. He had insights and dethroned a dominant smartphone brand like Blackberry within a decade with his incredible innovation called the iPhone.”

Chief Guest Dr.S.Christopher, Former Chairman, Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) handed the degrees to the students in the afternoon session.
