Dr. NGP Arts and Science College held a significant event where a new council of student leaders took their oath of office. The ceremony aimed to strengthen the college’s democratic values and enhance communication between students and teachers. Ten dedicated members were elected to the council, each committed to upholding the college’s rules in their own unique ways.
The ceremony had Major General Dr. R. Ravikumar, AVSM (Retd), Dean of the KMCH Institute of Health Sciences and Research, Coimbatore, as the chief guest. Several dignitaries including Professor Muthuswamy, Director – Academics, Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Secretary, Madam Mathura V. Palaniswami, Director – Academy for Professional Development, and Professor Saravanan, Principal, along with other faculty members, graced the occasion with their presence.
During the event, Major General Dr. Ravikumar shared his leadership experiences and emphasized the importance of shouldering responsibilities at a young age, inspiring the newly elected student leaders as they start their journey of leadership and service to the college community.
