PSG Institute of Health Sciences organized an induction program for the incoming batch of freshers of the current academic year. The induction is inclusive of the PSG College of Nursing, PSG College of Physiotherapy and PSG College of Pharmacy.
As many as 250 students that include 100 new entries for the B.Sc., 100 for the B.Pharm and 50 for BPT were part of this induction program.
Dr. Balaji, Director, PSG Institute of Oncology presided over the event by lighting the lamp. Presenting the presidential address he cited the history of PSG and glorified its contribution in terms of educating excellence in diversified sectors. Alongside highlighted the emphasis given to both academics and the overall development of the students incorporating discipline.
Dr. M. Ramanathan, Principal, PSG College of Pharmacy, welcomed the gathering followed by Dr Mahesh, Principal, PSG College of Physiotherapy who address the proliferation of PSG since its establishment.
Meanwhile, Dr. Jayasudha, Principal, PSG College of Nursing provided a conclusive note, expressed on the splendid opportunities provided by the institution in the enhancement of the distinctive talents of individuals.
The speakers in a nutshell summarized the core values of integrity, honesty, assertiveness & determination, and blending knowledge with attitude.
