Protest condemning BJP youth worker’s murder

Praveen Nettaru, BJP’s youth wing member’s murder arouses protest across districts of Karnataka. So far 15 people have been taken into custody, with six active teams investigating the case and 3 teams sent to Keral, Madikeri and Hassan districts.

According to police reports, motorcycle-borne killers attacked the 34 YO man while returning home from his poultry shop. The victim was soon taken to the hospital, wherein the doctors declared him dead.

District police informed that the attackers’ bike had Kerala registration and that further CCTV footage monitoring is in progress.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai condemned the attack assuring a quick investigation and to killers to be arrested sooner. Laos, Home Minister Araga Jnanendra stated that the police are in touch with the neighbouring state in identifying the murder convicts.

The police have allotted security charges and have restricted public gatherings at many places to avoid further mass violations.
