The PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, in partnership with SAP Labs Bengaluru, organized the SAP Techfest 2023 on September 5, 2023. The event featured distinguished guests, including Mohanram, Secretary of PSG iTech, Sindhu Gangadharan, SVP and MD, Srivatsan Santhanam, VP and Abhishek Chatterjee, Director, Strategic Programs of SAP Labs India.
Mohanram acknowledged SAP’s role in defining clear problem statements for student projects and praised their professional project scheduling. He expressed the potential for SAP to facilitate industry exposure for PSG iTech faculty.
Sindhu Gangadharan outlined SAP’s vision of improving the world and people’s lives. She highlighted SAP’s global impact, with 87% of world buying transactions relying on SAP Technologies. She encouraged academic-industry collaboration, providing students with opportunities to tackle real-world challenges.
Srivatsan Santhanam stressed the importance of solving critical business problems and advocated SAP’s “Why, What, When, and How” approach. He emphasized continuous self-investment as a key to success.
The event also featured a book release ceremony jointly conducted by SAP and PSG iTech Faculty, symbolizing a fruitful partnership between academia and industry, fostering innovation and progress for a better future.
