Department of Chemistry, Kongunadu Arts and Science College (KASC) organized the 2nd National seminar on Innovation and entrepreneurship in Chemical Sciences for inclusive curriculum, sponsored by ‘Paramarsh scheme – UGC & Indian Science Congress Association- Coimbatore chapter’.
The Secretary & Director Dr. C. A. Vasuki and Principle Dr. M. Lekeshmanaswamy, delivered the presidential and inaugural address for the program.
Chief Guest Dr. P. Sakthivel, Professor, Department of Nano Science and Technology, Bharathiar University, briefed the participants on the topic ‘Organic Polymers for Solar Cell Application’.
Dr. Hitesh .D. Patel, Professor, Department of Chemistry, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat and Dr. Narayanasastri Somanathan, former Senior Principal Scientist (Deputy Director) & Head of Polymer Science & Technology laboratory at Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai, served as the resource people.
Dr. V. Sangeetha, Head-Department of Chemistry, KASC, Dr. R. Velmurugan, Assistant Professors Dr. K. Krishnaveni, Dr. K. Saminathan, Dr. K. Chandraprakash and Dr. E. Jayanti were part of the seminar.
