Avinashilingam Institute celebrated teachers’ day
Recently, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women celebrated teachers’ day. S.P. Thyagarajan, the Chancellor, presided over the programme and rendered the presidential address. The Special Address, titled, “The Role of Teachers in Nation Building” was delivered by Prof. Dr. E. Balagurusamy. Dr. Bharathi Harishankar, the vice-chancellor, Dr. S. Kowsalya, the Registrar and other faculty members were part of the event.
