PSG Management Alumni Association (MAA) in company with the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity, organized its first outreach programme at Thambu Higher Secondary school, Coimbatore.
Around 200 students of 12th grade including the organizing members Preetha S Priyadarsini, Chairperson, PSG MAA and Antony Paul Kunnath, Vice Chairman, PSG MAA, the guest speakers Prasanna Kandeepan, Founder and CEO, AppsComp Widgets Pvt Ltd., Dr Arivazhagan, Asst Professor School of Management, Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts & Science, along with the school management were part of this program.
Prasanna Kandeepan during the first interactive session highlighted the aspects of confidence, fear removal and leadership as the key elements to be ingrained. He then emphasized the basic communication and interview skills to be developed with the student for their progress. In due course, the students expressed their interest and interacted well.
Dr Arivazhagan, Faculty lead – SPHERE, Competitive Exams, also a UPSC aspirant, briefed on the essential factors for competitive exams. Unlike the older decades, the accessibility of the syllabus to its preparation has now become feasible and students must make much benefit from it. Stressing the fact of the competitive circumstance of the current scenario, he explicitly mentions that with focus and dedication towards the goal, the progressive result is attainable in a short span.
