In collaboration with Kumaraguru College of Technology (KIT), International Forum for Information Technology in Tamil (INFITT) organized an International Conference on Tamil Computing at The Tamil Research Center in KIT on October 13-14, 2023. The conference comprised invited talks and a Young Researchers Forum, offering a global stage for emerging talents. Themed “Enabling Smartness in Tamil Computing using AI Technology,” the event facilitated the sharing of AI applications in Tamil computing among young researchers.
Academics and scholars showcased their works on October 13, followed by 16 young researchers on the 14th, accompanied by tutorials. With around 300 enthusiasts in attendance, the conference focused on the integration of AI in Tamil computing. The digital conference book, distributed via QR code, included a Best Paper Award, encouraging and recognizing outstanding contributions from young researchers.
