Rotary Coimbatore IKONS, in celebration of Basic Education Month under the theme ‘Teachers: Nation Builders,’ conferred the Nation Builder Award to esteemed educators on September 29, 2023, at Vivanta by Taj, Race Course, Coimbatore. Rtn. Trishala Kailash Jain, Assistant Governor, graced the event as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was attended by Rtn. Shanthi, President, Rtn. Jayamurali, Secretary, and Rtn. Rajendra Bhoopathy, Vocational Service Director.
Awards were presented to notable educators, including Chitra, Founder, Auromirra Centre for Special Education, Somasundaramoorthy, Sports Instructor, PSG College of Technology, Sri Aneesh Menon, Carnatic Vocal Music and Classical Dance Teacher, Rufina Jayanthi Victor, French Teacher, SSVM World School, Anbuselvi, Professor and HOD RVS College of Nursing
