NGPASC Conclave on Auditing

Auditors’ Conclave on Auditing in New Age – 2023 (ACANA-2023) was organized by Dr.N.G.P.Arts and Science College

The presidential address by Muthuswamy, Director – Academics, Dr.N.G.P. Educational Institutions. He highlighted on Cross border accounting, Fintech on Block chain, Crypto currency, etc.

Followed by Felicitation by professor and principal i/c, Saravanan. He highlighted on Technological Integration of accounting , Auditing and Accounting over big four companies.

Further Felicitation by CA. Survajith S. Krishnan, Treasurer – Coimbatore ICAI. He highlighted on importance of Chartered Accountants in India.

Technical Session –I was chaired by CA. Gopalakrishna Mahesh, Founder Director, Financial Crest Private Limited, Coimbatore on the Topic “Sustainability reporting of auditing”. He has oriented the participants on the importance of Chartered Accountants and their changing roles. He highlighted on the social impact assessment of businesses, sustainability in business, sustainability reporting, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Standards. Introduced the terms carbon credit and Green Finance to the participants. He also appreciated the organisers for selecting the current topic which was discussed in G20 very recently.

Technical Session –II was chaired by CA. Siddharth Ashok, Partner, Business Analytics and Advisory, KSPV & Co., Coimbatore on the topic “Block Chain Technology, AI and Auditing”. He enlightened the participants on Block Chain Technology and its uses, Cryptocurrency and its uses, Block Chain Technology in Supply Chain Management, Block Chain in Auditing, Artificial Intelligence in Accounting and Auditing.

Technical Session –III was chaired by CA.V.Venkatram, Partner, K.S.G. Subramanyam &Co., Coimbatore on the topic “ Auditing in the age of Big Data and Ethical Consideration in Auditing”. He educated the participants on Big Data, Big Data Mining, Reforming Audit and Professional Ethics.

Total Beneficiaries of the Auditors’ Conclave were around 500 from various institutions in and around Coimbatore.
