JLW Plants 350 Trees to Mark 75th Independence Day

JITO Ladies Wing (JLW) Coimbatore celebrated the 75th Independence Day with a noble initiative, the Amritkal Mahotsav, by launching a Tree Plantation project. With a vision to create a greener and more beautiful Coimbatore, the organization planted over 350 plants, including various flowering species, at Thomas Park and Sponge Park, Race Course. The project aims to maintain these green spaces annually to promote a pristine environment in the city.

The inauguration witnessed the presence of esteemed guests, including Prathap, Municipal Corporation Commissioner, Coimbatore, Poonamji Bafna, Chairperson, Pragyaji Baid, Chief Secretary, and Shilpaji Dugar, Project Convener of JITO Ladies Wing Coimbatore, Rakeshji Mehta, Chairman and Nirmalji Jain, Apex Director of JITO Coimbatore and other dignitaries and members from JITO. This initiative exemplifies the organization’s commitment to empowering women and serving society, fostering a positive impact on the community.
