Vivekananda Institute of Management Studies organized one day Mega Free Medical Camp at the campus in association with Dr. Muthus Hospital, Lotus Eye Hospital and Rao Hospital for the public as its social welfare activity. Dr. A. Valarmathi, Director, VIMS delivered Felicitation Address. Dr.C.Guna Sekaran, Chief Executive Officer, VIMS delivered the presidential Address.
Chief guest Adv. S. Yuvaraj, President, Shree Punitha Gnanagana Seva Ashram insisted that students and the general public take up regular body check-ups as part of a healthy life. There are two services which need to be done as primary services; one is providing free food and another important one is free medical services. He appreciated the Doctors, nurses and other staff members of hospitals for their relentless service in saving the people.
