B Sriramulu, President, Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore, in a press release conveyed his New Year wishes with a quick recapitulation of significant happenings across the globe and India’s recovery from Covid inflation making remarkable growth.
The year 2022 is a peculiar year for the whole world, particularly for India. The year 2022 draws to an end. The country has elected its President and Vice-President. India’s scientific endeavours have grown with leaps and bounds in 2022.
Indian Economy is impacted by Russia- Ukraine war, the omicron variant and Geo-Political issues.
Key international events like Winter Olympics in Beijing and FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Also, continuous increase in inflation and RBI Measures by increasing the Bank rate put pressure on Industrial borrowings. Inspite of all odds, the Indian Economy has grown better than any other country in the world.
He added, “Our Chamber has constantly taken up all relevant issues with the relevant authorities which impact the industries in particular, Coimbatore region in general.
Now we look forward to ‘2023- a year of opportunities’. Every challenge we can convert into an opportunity to innovate and improve our standard of life.
