Students of Satchidananda International School, Kallar, presented a skit competition among the four teams – Akash, Agni, Prithvi, and Trishul, in their school auditorium. The budding actors displayed their skills based on themes such as Child-labour, media influence, and a few scenes from Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
The one which drew the audience was the theme titled, ‘Media, the devil’, presented by team Prithivi. Students brought alive the ill effects of media and its addiction among the youth. How responding to an innocuous call lands a student in trouble was well portrayed by students in this play.
Dr. Kavidasan, Secretary of the school witnessed the programme and praised the emerging actors, and wished them good luck.
