The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of KalaignarKarunanidhi Institute of Technology (KIT) Coimbatore, in association with KIT- ENSAV club jointly organized the “IGEN SDG ACTION AWARDS”.
During the event, Dr.L.Ramesh President of Institution of Green Engineers(IGEN), Dr.M.Saravana Kumar, Dean- Anna University Regional Campus, Coimbatore and Dr.L.Ashok Kumar, Chairman of IAEMP, Coimbatore Chapter, Professor in EEE, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, explained on the objectives to start Energy Saving Clubs in Educational Institutions & creating Energy Saving Ambassadors, efforts to save and use the available electricity economically and, to use bio-energy to control carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and improve the environment respectively.
