The Department of Biomedical Engineering at NGPiTECH witnessed the inauguration of the B,MEDIDIANS Students Association. V. Nandhu, the student Joint Treasurer, extended a warm welcome to the attendees, followed by the Presidential address by S.U. Prabha, the Principal. K. Vijayakumar, the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department, offered felicitations for the event. The office bearers of B,MEDIDIANS were introduced by S. Velmurugan, Associate Professor of BME. K. Nithya, Students Secretary, presented the action plan for the Academic year 2023-2024. The distinguished chief guest, Sudir K Nair, Head of Academic Programs at Agappe Diagnostics Ltd, Ernakulam, Kerala, delivered an insightful guest lecture on the landscape and opportunities in In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD). The event concluded with the student Treasurer expressing gratitude in the vote of thanks. The inauguration garnered participation from Heads of other departments, Deans, faculty members, and NGPiTECH students.
