On 14th October 2023, the Anna University Zone-IX Table Tennis Tournament for Men and Women was organized by Dr NGP Institute of Technology. The tournament was inaugurated by Thavamani.D. Palaniswamy, Secretary, and Dr. Sambasivam, Administrative Officer accompanied by the physical directors from Zone-IX.
Totally 12 teams participated in the tournament under both categories. Under the Women’s category Coimbatore Institute of Technology secured the winning position, Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology was the runners and Sree Sakthi Engineering College was the second runner-up.
Under the Men’s category Coimbatore Institute of Technology won the first place followed by Sree Sakthi Engineering College in the second place and PSG College of Technology in the third place. The Principal S.U. Prabha addressed in the valedictory function and Physical Director Sanjeev proposed the vote of thanks.
