PSG Polytechnic College Initiates Cyber Club

PSG Polytechnic College inaugurated the Cyber Club and Student Disaster Response Force, showcasing a commitment to digital security and preparedness. The event, attended by esteemed guests including Karuppasamy, Sub Inspector of Police, Cyber Crime, Coimbatore, and Ramachandran, Asst., DFO, Tamil Nadu Fire & Rescue Services, marked a momentous occasion. The ceremony commenced with a symbolic lamp lighting, embodying the enlightenment needed in the digital realm.

Chief Guest Karuppasamy spoke on Empowering the Future Guardians of Cybersecurity. The club, comprising tech-savvy students, aims to deepen understanding through workshops and seminars, addressing the evolving landscape of cybersecurity.

Ramachandran, the second Chief Guest, emphasized the Importance of youth involvement in “community service” and “crisis response”, marking the initiation of the unique Student Rapid Response Force.
