The Rotaract Club of AIHSHEW, led by President Rtr. Shwetha and Secretary Rtr. Subashini, donated 4 wheelchairs worth Rs. 56,000 to the differently-abled on 9th September 2023 at the Coimbatore Cancer Foundation. The event was organized by Event Chair Rtr. Aishwarya Lakshmi.
This significant contribution is a small step taken by the club to uplift the lives of people who find it difficult to move. The people at the Cancer Foundation, who will also be presenting the wheelchairs to the people of Karadivavi village in Palladam Block, appreciated the efforts of the Rotaractors and said that such noble causes should be encouraged.
The motto of the Rotaract Club, “Fellowship through Service,” is clearly showcased through the actions of the Rotaractors.
