The Department of Management Studies (PG) & Research at VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science organized a Three Day Induction Programme for first-year MBA students. The program on Day one was presided over by the Principal, Ramamurthi. Prakash, Assistant Professor, welcomed the gathering, and Vasishta, a student from the second year of the MBA program, introduced the Guest of the day. Vasudevan, Vice-Principal, felicitated the attendees.
The Chief Guest for the day was Ganesan, Former Principal of Texcity Arts & Science College, and Former Director of School of Management, VLBJCAS. During his speech on “Towards Excellence,” Ganesan emphasized various practices that are essential for success. He highlighted 12 aspects crucial for the present times, including Dream, Dedication, Determination, Discipline, Confidence, Composure, and Compassion.
Ganesan stressed the importance of developing strong communication skills to excel both in one’s career and personal life. The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Jerin Saji, a second-year MBA student.
