AIMS and PSGIM to Host 34th Annual Management Education Convention

The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) in association with the PSG Institute of Management to organize its prestigious 34th Annual Management Education Convention, ‘Management Education: Harnessing the New Paradigm’ scheduled to take place from August 24th to 26th, 2023. This flagship program serves as a significant platform, bringing together industry leaders, deans, directors, faculty members, students of business schools, researchers, policymakers, and all stakeholders involved in teaching, learning, training, and administration to share managerial insights under one umbrella.

In preparation for the convention, a round table discussion was recently organized by R. Nandagopal, President, AIMS & Director General Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College, Pollachi, and Priya, Executive of AIMS. The round table discussion served as a platform for deliberating on the event’s organization and key aspects, bringing together stakeholders to strategize and plan effectively. The convention will feature pre-conference workshops, including an International Accreditation Workshop and a Case Teaching Workshop.

The inaugural event of the convention will be graced by the presence of L. Murugan, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, as the Chief Guest. The Valedictory session will be attended by esteemed guests like Jayaram Varadarajan, Managing Director of Elgi Equipments, Subash Sarkar, Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Education, and Palanivel Thiagarajan, Minister of Information Technology and Digital Services, Government of Tamil Nadu.

The program will include several panel discussions centered around the themes of Aspirations, Adaptability, and Accountability. Additionally, various competitions and research paper presentations will take place during the convention, with prestigious awards such as the AIMS Student Paper Award, AIMS J L Batra Best Research Paper Award, and WeSchool Innovation Award, etc., being presented to outstanding contributors.

It is anticipated that more than 600 participants, including representatives from various B-Schools in Coimbatore, will take part in this convention. With their support, AIMS is dedicated to ensuring the successful execution of this event.
