Ayushi Gautam, a final year student from Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) Coimbatore, made history by becoming the first girl student to receive the 2023 IEEE AESS Engineering Scholarship of $10,000. Established in 2019, the scholarship has been awarded mainly to male students from non-Asian Universities until now. Ayushi’s exceptional academic achievements and dedication to engineering earned her this prestigious recognition, breaking gender barriers in the field.
