The Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India) was established in Coimbatore 25 years ago, with its roots in Bangalore dating back 35 years. It was founded by a group of dedicated civil engineers from Coimbatore, aiming to enhance professional excellence, represent construction and design concerns to the government, and elevate India’s Construction Industry sector to global standards.

The primary objective of the association is to foster and encourage innovative ideas in the civil engineering profession. They plan to achieve this by organizing conferences, meetings, and seminars to disseminate knowledge among civil engineers and the wider society. The Coimbatore Centre also intends to conduct technical visits, workshops, exhibitions, and placement orientation programs related to the construction industry, along with hosting endowment talks, etc.

Furthermore, the Coimbatore Centre collaborates with fellow associations such as the Builders Association of India, Coimbatore Builders and Contractors Association, and the Indian Institute of Architects, etc. These collaborations strengthen the association’s network and expand its impact within the construction industry.
