Recently, V. Balakrishnan IPS, Commissioner of Police Coimbatore, visited the PSG Santham Palliative Care and saluted the End of Life Care initiative. He appreciated the world-class medical environment and the compassionate doctors in serving the patients with empathy. In his footnote, the police commissioner mentioned, “End-of-life care is an eye opener to me on many counts…They are instrumental in ensuring peaceful life for the cancer patients.” The Commission of police was accompanied by L. Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG & Sons’ Charities and Dr. T. Balaji, Director, Department of Oncology, PSG hospitals.
