CII Coimbatore in association with Coimbatore Management Association organized a Session on ‘Driving Enterprise Growth using Artificial Intelligence’ on Monday.
Rajesh Doraiswamy, Vice Chairman, CII Coimbatore Zone & Joint Managing Director, Salzer Electronics Ltd, delivered the welcome remarks during the session. He emphasized the evolving significance of AI across domains and its potential to enhance competitiveness in the market if embraced timely. He highlighted CII’s efforts in promoting technological advancements among the industry members and reiterated the session’s objective of exploring the role of AI in propelling existing businesses and creating new growth opportunities.
The session was addressed by Amitabha Saha Roy, Global Practice Head – Sales and Marketing, Consumer Goods Industry, Tata Consultancy Services. Roy shared insights on powering enterprise growth through Artificial Intelligence, highlighting the rapid pace of AI development and the imperative for businesses to assess their status and identify capability gaps. Drawing from industry examples, he showcased AI’s evolution and its impact on business transformation, emphasizing benefits such as increased productivity, enhanced user experience, improved revenue and profitability, and accelerated speed and cost efficiencies.
Roy also outlined a roadmap towards building an AI-driven organization encompassing strategies like digitalization, establishing robust data foundations, data analytics, and advanced AI implementation to drive Growth and Innovation.
