Honeywell invests in youth and upgrades school

Honeywell Hometown Solutions India Foundation (HHSIF), the philanthropic arm of Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON) has successfully upskilled 4000+ youth and augmented school infrastructure across Tamil Nadu over the last three years.

Honeywell has undertaken many upskilling programs and upgraded school infrastructure across the districts of Kanyakumari, Madurai, Namakkal, Virudhunagar, and Tiruvallur.

By focusing on sustainable community development, Project Anandgaon aims to provide educational and community infrastructure in remote rural areas, ensuring inclusive and equitable access to quality education and sustainable technology solutions.

The initiative encompasses various aspects of school development, including classroom construction, smart class setup, and the construction of WASH facilities, such as handwashing stations, toilets, and drinking water facilities.

Honeywell also provides scholarships to students to undertake STEM certifications, thereby promoting employment opportunities for the youth, and empowering youth and women.

From a pan India perspective, Honeywell has impacted over 25000 youth across 12 states through structured training programs in partnership with ICT Academy and Centres of Excellence for Youth Empowerment across colleges.
