Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology, Department of Civil Engineering, has organized Two Day Workshop on “Design and Drawing of RCC Structures Using Software’s” which was sponsored by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi.
Recently, during the Inauguration, Dr. P. Muthupriya, Professor & HOD of Civil Engineering, delivered the welcome address. Dr. S.U. Prabha, Principal, Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology, felicitated the event. Dr. M. Veerapathran, Assistant Professor (SG), gave a brief note on the Workshop. Dr. G.Appa Rao, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras, delivered the Chief Guest Address and highlighted on “Special Structural Members and Detailing” in his technical session. Totally 7 sessions were handled by eminent speakers from reputed Institutes and Industries. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks to V.K Shankar.
