Dr.N.G.P Arts and Science College, Department of Biochemistry, organized STEM -Innovation contest 2023 in association with Bhumi, Non Governmental Organization (NGO), Chennai, under G20 Indian Presidency Theme and DBT Star Status Scheme on 31.10.2023. Rajeshkanna, Director, NTT Data Services, Chennai, was the chief guest.
This competition was designed to ignite the sparks of curiosity and innovation in the young minds of Corporation and Private schools students in Coimbatore district studying 6th to 9th standard.
Muthuswamy, Director, Dr.N.G.P Educational Institutions, Ramamurthi, Principal, Dr.N.G.PArts and Science College and Alexander, Senior Manager, Bhumi NGO graced the occasion with their presence.
Students actively participated and exhibited various models such as Automatic sensor street light, Automatic rain detector, Chandrayan 3, Doormate alarm, Automatic water tap, Moon Walking robot, Hologram, etc.
Finally, the winners were awarded with certificates and shield by the chief guest.
Through a series of captivating challenges and real world projects, this platform aims to cultivatie passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) by providing students with a unique opportunity to showcase their talents, creativity, and problem-solving prowess.
