Meril Life Sciences Pvt Ltd, a global Indian medical devices company was awarded the ‘World Intellectual Property Organization’s (WIPO) National Award’ for Inventors. The award was presented by the WIPO and the Indian Patent Office organisations for the inventions which are considered to be the significant contributions to the economic and technological development of their countries. The award was a recognition of Meril’s notable work towards securing patents and commercialising them to boost manufacturing in India.
Daren Tang, WIPO Director General, underscored Meril’s dedication to devising innovative medical products that address previously unmet clinical needs.
