Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology students won the overall champion title in the 10th zone level Anna University athletics competitions held at Sri Krishna College campuses, Coimbatore. Students participated in more than 19 different events including 100m, 200m, 400m, Relay, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Javelin Throw and Discus Throw.
Overall, Students from 23 colleges under 10th Zone of Anna University participated in the events. It is noteworthy that the students of Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology scored the highest number of points, secured first place in the events and also won the overall champion title.
Sarasuwathi Kannaiyan, chairman of Hindusthan groups, Priya Satish Prabhu, Joint Secretary of the Hindusthan Educational and Charitable Trust appreciated the students. Karunakaran K. CEO, Hindusthan Educational Institutions, Jaya, Dean, Makudeswaran, Principal and Ravikumar, Director of Physical Education congratulated the students.
