The Department of Biochemistry, Dr. N.G.P. Arts and Science College, under DBT-Star College Scheme organized a State level seminar on Emerging Trends in Bioentrepreneurship (ETB- 2023). The program was presided over by Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Secretary, in her absence.
The presidential address was delivered by Saravanan, Principal-Incharge,
Gayathri, Project Lead, Startup TN, Coimbatore, and Aravindh Selvaraj, Executive Director & Chief Scientific Officer, Elies Biotech Pvt Ltd, Erode was the keynote speakers. They showered the knowledge based on startup ideas, and challenges in Entrepreneurship approaches in their respective field.
Nearly 70 participants from various colleges including KPR College of Arts and Science, PSG College of Arts and Science, Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for women, Navarasam Arts and Science College, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education participated and presented startup ideas.
Rajasekar Sivasamy, Project Associate, Startup TN delivered the valedictory address on the topic of Challenges and Strategies for building a successful Startup.
The seminar witnessed the participation of Sudha, DBT Star Coordinator, Kalimuthu, Dean R&D and other keynote speakers with 250 participants.
