Opening of Indian car section at GEDEE Car Museum

The Gedee Car Museum, operational since April 2015, has garnered widespread acclaim from visitors of all ages. Encouraged by the positive response, the museum has consistently expanded its automobile collection. Now, responding to popular demand, the museum has unveiled an exclusive collection of Indian Cars, showcasing the nation’s post-1947 achievements in the automobile industry. Spanning 10,500 sqft, the Indian car section features approximately 40 distinct vehicles, each significant in its own right, displayed in the order of manufacturers like Hindustan Motors, Maruti Udyog, Tata Motors, and more.

This new addition serves as a tribute to India’s rich automotive history and its pursuit of creating a “people’s car.” The museum officially opens to the public on August 18th, 2023, at 09.00 AM, in commemoration of the 77th Independence Day. Admission fees range from 125 for adults, 70 for children (ages 5 to 17), and free entry for children below 5 years old. Operating from Tuesday to Sunday, 09.00 am to 06.30 pm, with a lunch break from 01.00 pm to 02.00 pm, the museum remains closed on Mondays for maintenance and national holidays.
