Renowned Chef Damodharan Visits SRCAS

The renowned Chefs, Damodharan, President, Sheetharam Prasaad, General Secretary, Rajmohan, Jr. Forum Coordinator of SICA and Ajeeth Janardhanan, Culinary Director, The Residency Towers recently visited Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science (SRCAS), Coimbatore. Deena, Director of the Department of Catering Science & Hotel Management welcomed the dignitaries. Shivakumar, Principal & Secretary of the college presided over the programme.

The event highlighted a display of various dishes including Chocolate Cheese Cake, Lunch Box Cake, Rose Jelly, Blue and White Cheese Cake, etc., prepared by the students of Catering Science & Hotel Management. The Chief Guests, the great culinary masters of South India, tasted the dishes and highly appreciated the students for their creativity and artistic presentation.

The event paved the way for the students to meet the most experienced chefs and interact with them. This was followed by the Regional Culinary Meet in which staff and students of various colleges in and around Coimbatore participated. The members of SICA elaborated on the details of the 6th Edition of SICA Culinary Competitions.
