The 11th Graduation ceremony of Sree Abirami Institutions took place on July 22, 2023, at PY Mahal, Coimbatore. Students from Nursing, Pharmacy, Paramedical Sciences, and Physiotherapy were celebrated. The event began with Kunthavi Devi, the Director, inaugurating it. Umadevi, another Director, delivered the welcome address, followed by Arvin Babu, the Dean, who spoke about the Institution’ growth. Periyaswamy, the Chairman, presided over the convocation. The Chief Guest, B. K. Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, inspired students to have confidence in achieving their dreams. “In a convocation, the dream of several parents was getting fulfilled. The purpose of the convocation is to create a dream in students’ minds and to make them travel towards it with confidence. The fact that students coming from agricultural backgrounds and Tamil medium schools are successfully graduating is a revolution in itself. He recalled the words of Swami Vivekananda, – Have faith in yourself. If you try there’s nothing you cannot achieve”, he added. Motivational speaker Gopinath Chandran advised against wasting time on social media. Approximately 200 students received certificates, and college toppers in various streams were awarded prizes. Directors Senthil Kumar, Balamurugan, and Principals of affiliated colleges also participated. It was a memorable day filled with inspiration and recognition of students’ accomplishments.
