The FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO) organized a fireside chat with young achievers Kanika Tekriwal and Shivaarti Bajaj in Coimbatore. The event, sponsored by DBS Bank, witnessed the presence of over 100 entrepreneurs. Rama Rajasekaran, Chairperson of FLO Coimbatore, delivered the Welcome Address, highlighting the organization’s focus on promoting gender parity and empowerment.
During the chat, Kanika Tekriwal, the founder of Jet Set Go, shared her inspiring journey. She spoke about her early love for aviation, overcoming challenges, and founding an online marketplace for private jets and helicopters. Despite battling cancer, she remains committed to revolutionizing India’s flying experience. Kanika has received prestigious accolades, including Forbes’ 30 Under 30 and BBC’s 100 Most Inspirational Women, etc.
Shivaarti Bajaj, co-founder and managing director of RSD Bajaj Global Law firm, also shared her remarkable story. With a background in law and sciences, she focuses on addressing the legal needs of start-ups and early-stage companies. Shivaarti has successfully scaled various tech start-ups and received recognition in BW Legal Power and as the BW Intellectual Property Lawyer of the Year in 2023.
The event left a profound impact on FLO Coimbatore members, kindling a spirit of entrepreneurship among women in the city.
