KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KONE Elevators India Private Limited to establish a project-based internship program. This collaboration aims to provide undergraduate and postgraduate students of KPRIET with valuable inputs and opportunities, facilitated by KONE India Elevators Private Limited.
Amit Gossain, the Managing Director of KONE Elevators India, emphasized that this collaboration represents a significant milestone for both organizations, as they work together to shape the future of technology and empower the next generation of leaders. He also highlighted the importance of partnerships between academia and industry, stating that KONE believes in the collective strength and holistic learning experiences they provide students.
To commemorate this significant event, KPRIET hosted Sai Kiruba, DGM-HR, and Mani Kumar, GM-Engineering Tools and Variant Configuration from KONE Elevator India Private Limited. Thamarai Kannan, Director of the Career Development Center and Administration at KPRIET welcomed the esteemed guests.
During the felicitation address, the Principal of KPRIET reiterated the importance of collaboration between industry and academia to foster innovation. This partnership will provide students with access to advanced technology and co-working spaces, nurturing them to become future-ready engineers.
