International Women’s Day was celebrated at SNS Technical Institutions and SNS Rajalakshmi College of Arts and Science on Tuesday.
Leela Alex, District Revenue Officer, Coimbatore and Rtn.Maheshwari, an alumna of SNS Institutions attended as Special Guests of the day.
S.Chenthurpandian, Principal, SNS College of Technology, S.Charles, Principal, SNS College of Engineering and V.P.Arunachalam, Director SNS Technical institutions felicitated the gathering. Prizes were given to the winners of the various events that were held for students and teachers in connection with Women’s Day at the ceremony.
Know Yourself! – Leela Alex
Speaking at the event, Leela Alex urged the students to uncover their hidden potential. “I would like to tell two things to you; Know Yourself and Know Your Obstacles,” she underlined.
She assured that every single person in that venue is blessed with some talent and she wanted them to explore their gifts, and not let it rest there. She wanted them to explore all the opportunities that are available in front of them, and fix on a goal and work towards excelling in it.
