CII Coimbatore along with Young Indians, Coimbatore organized an Interactive Session with Dr T R B Rajaa, Minister for Industries, Government of Tamil Nadu on Thursday.
Dr. Senthil Ganesh, Past Chairman, CII Coimbatore welcomed the Minister and thanked him for his efforts towards Industrial Development. Representatives from sectoral associations and the industry participated in the session and interacted with the Minister.
Interacting with the members, Dr Rajaa expressed that Tamil Nadu continues to be the growth engine powering the nation’s growth and asserted that the state will continue to grow outpacing all other states in the forthcoming years. He also mentioned that diversity is a unique feature of a democracy like India and added that it is this factor that strengthens and propels the growth of the country.
Dr Rajaa mentioned that all entrepreneurs and citizens alike should take steps to brand Tamil Nadu at every given opportunity. He cited that though Tamil Nadu is the most advanced manufacturing hub as well as the urbanized state, we are not marketing the prowess the state possesses to the outside world.
He mentioned that the Government of Tamil Nadu has made all concerted efforts including the recently organized and very successful Global Investors Meet which will help the state to leap forward in industrial growth. He quoted the investments from the Tata Group and VinFast as great examples of this success. Vishnu Prabhakar, Chair, Yi Coimbatore concluded the session.
