Department of Management (UG) of VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science inaugurated OFFICIOUS and organised a guest lecture on ‘Ultimate Winning Secret’. Preetha, Head, the Department of Management (UG) welcomed the gathering and introduced the guest of the day. In his Presidential address, Vasudevan, Vice Principal & Head, Department of Electronics and Communication System stated how perseverance is extremely important for success. It was a completely interactive session. Vignesh, Associate Professor and Head, PG Department of Commerce (IB) from NGM College, Pollachi was the resource person. He stated that positive persistence is the key when it comes to overcoming setbacks and odds in life’s journey. He insisted the students do a lot of hard work with determination. Furthermore, he insisted to hone an inherent set of analytical thinking and to exhibit a greater dexterity over objective thought processes. To conclude, he stated that students to be positive, make realistic and lofty goals, not to wait for perfection and to expand on success and learn from failures. The session came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Vineesh, a student coordinator.
