KV Institute of Management and Information Studies organized a Guest Lecture on the topic “Exploring Sustainable Innovations in New Product Development Amid Current Trends” on Monday.

Dr. Devaraj Director of Khayzen System India (P) Ltd., Coimbatore, delivered an enlightening guest lecture. Devaraj commenced the discourse by elucidating the pivotal role of variable frequency drive (VFD) technology in conserving energy and optimizing power investments, underscoring its relevance in the current landscape of sustainable development. Drawing parallels with the ingenious methodologies of G.D. Naidu, celebrated as the ‘Edison of India’ he imparted valuable insights into frugal engineering and rapid prototyping, thereby instilling a sense of creativity and resourcefulness among the students.
