Vivekananda Institute of Management Studies, A Stand-Alone B-School, and ‘Cambista’ the Students’ Management Association jointly organized ‘VIMSMART 2K24 South India’s Intercollegiate Meet on recently.
Dr.Valarmathi, Director, VIMS delivered the Presidential Address and insisted to all the participants that the ultimate goal of this event was to learn and get the exposure instead of getting a prize.
Bala Senthil, Founder and MD, Ze Bancairo School of Banking, was the Chief Guest of the Inauguration. He shared his business experience with the participants and listed out the qualities required for this generation like Awareness of self-identity, never giving up and being a Determined person.
On this occasion, more than 400 students from various colleges participated in the events like Best Manager, Best Management Team, Stock War, IPL Auction, Adzap, Group Dance, Mime, Fireless Cooking, Photography, Art from Waste, Treasure Hunt, Management Quiz and Mehandi.
Naveen Manickam, Founder, WBN India & NM Academia was the Chief Guest of Valedictory Function and said that VIMS creates more leaders in every span of time. He concluded with the quotes ‘Don’t focus on money but focus on goal’ & ‘Turn your Passion into Profit’.
Dr.Umamaheswari, Co-ordinator of VIMSMART announced the Prize Winners. Bishop Heber College, Tiruchirapalli won the Overall Championship Trophy. Winners and Runners were honored with Medals and Cash Prizes.
