Vivekananda Institute of Management Studies, a Stand-Alone B-School, organized a Management Development Programme Phase II on ‘Professional Engagement for Business Success’ on Saturday.
In this event, Employees of Roots Cast Private Limited, Coimbatore participated and benefited. Participants were involved in various sessions related to Team Building, Cooperation, and Coordination, conducted by Kalaivani, Assistant Professor, VIMS.
Dr. Valarmathi, Director, VIMS conducted an Interactive session on ‘Emotional Intelligence’. She delivered the session through tasks, exercises, Video clips, and examples from Indian Epics. As an outcome, participants learned about Conflict Management, Emotional Competencies, and Stress control. Dr. Durai, Associate Professor, VIMS addressed in the title of ‘Be Proactive’. He delivered a session on Proactive factors, and Circle of control.
Participants actively participated and got ideas to develop Proactive performance such as Job performance, Career Success, Attitudes, feelings of personal control, and clarity on their roles. Sasikumar, HR – Training and Development, Roots Cast Private Ltd., thanked VIMS Management, the Director, and Faculty for organizing this Management Development Programme in an effective manner.
