Rathinam College claims its remarkable achievement in securing second place in the highly competitive South India Invitational BVS Trophy Football Tournament, held in Mangalore.
In the first match against the Kodugu team, Rathinam demonstrated resilience with a 1-1 draw, eventually clinching victory in the tiebreak with a score of 4-3. The second match against Kerala FC showcased Rathinam’s dominance, securing a confident 2-0 win. Advancing to the semifinals, Rathinam delivered a spectacular performance against Goa FC, securing an impressive 6-1 victory. Despite a valiant effort in the finals against Karnataka Sports Club, Rathinam narrowly lost with a score of 2-1, ultimately securing the second-place position in the tournament.
