PSGIAS and IGCHE Collaborate to Shape Global Education Landscape

PSG Institute of Advanced Studies (PSGIAS), known for pioneering research in fields like Nanoscience and Technology, is making strides in global education. As an approved research center of Anna University and Bharathiar University, PSGIAS has established its reputation in academia.

The institute’s International Credit Transfer program stands out, offering courses in Engineering, International Business, and International Fashion, allowing students to study in India and graduate abroad by establishing strong connections with universities in the US, UK, Germany, and Australia.

In a significant move, PSGIAS partners with the Indo-German Consortium of Higher Education (IGCHE), offering bilingual Bachelor’s programs in a 3+1 mode. As a founding member since 2009, PSGIAS’s collaboration with IGCHE has grown stronger, with 9 German partner universities now offering engineering courses, emphasizing practical learning and German language proficiency.

A highlight of this partnership is the PSGIAS-German School of Technology, supported by DAAD. This initiative introduces diverse engineering programs, fostering academic and professional connections between India and Germany.

PSGIAS’s unique status as the sole Exam Center authorized by TELC gGmbH in India adds value. TELC German Language Examinations certificates, recognized globally and by the German Embassy, validate language skills as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The PSGIAS-German School of Technology reflects a commitment to cross-cultural competence and practical education. PSGIAS and IGCHE’s decade-long collaboration empowers students for global success, leaving an indelible mark on higher education.
