Vivekananda Institute of Management Studies, Coimbatore Cambista (The Student’s Association) organized an Orientation Program on 7th August 2023 for the new batch of MBA students. A.Valarmathi, Director – VIMS, delivered Welcome Address. She said that students have to fulfil the parents’ expectations by achieving their careers and proving themselves. S. Sridhar Gnanadurai, HR Business Partner, Gilbarco Veeder-Root India (P) Ltd., was the Chief Guest. In his speech, he pointed out that studying MBA is not only about books it is about how they are closely working with faculty to gain knowledge. He motivated the students to set their vision and work to stand out from a crowd of 3.31 million students completing an MBA every year. On this occasion, VIMS Bi-Annual Newsletter (V-imprint) and International Journal (Vichaara) were released. S.Umamaheshwari, Associate Professor, VIMS proposed Vote of thanks.
